Godzilla Vs Kong': Sneak Peek Of Adam Wingard's Kaiju Epic Is Here And Fans Are Excited - Entertainment

This article is about the upcoming 2021 film. For the 1962 film, see King Kong vs. Godzilla.

Godzilla vs. Kong is an upcoming American monster film directed by Adam Wingard. A sequel to Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Kong: Skull Island, it is the fourth film in Legendary’s MonsterVerse. The film is also the 36th film in the Godzilla franchise, the 12th film in the King Kong franchise, and the fourth Godzilla film to be completely produced by a Hollywood studio.[b] The film stars Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Eiza González, Julian Dennison, Kyle Chandler, and Demián Bichir.

The project was announced in October 2015 when Legendary announced plans for a shared cinematic universe between Godzilla and King Kong. The film’s writers room was assembled in March 2017, and Wingard was announced as the director in May 2017. Principal photography began in November 2018 in Hawaii, Australia and Hong Kong, and wrapped in April 2019. After being delayed from a November 2020 release date due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Godzilla vs. Kong is scheduled to be released simultaneously in theaters and on HBO Max on March 26, 2021.

The epic next chapter in the cinematic Monsterverse pits two of the greatest icons in motion picture history against one another – the fearsome Godzilla and the mighty Kong – with humanity caught in the balance.

Black Swan (2010): She Became Perfect in Every Area Except Life

Black Swan movie review & film summary (2010) | Roger Ebert
moviesandsongs365: Film review - Black Swan (2010)Black Swan (film) - Wikipedia
Sinopsis Film Black Swan, antara Ambisi dan Delusi

A committed dancer struggles to maintain her sanity after winning the lead role in a production of Tchaikovsky’s “Swan Lake”.

Darren Aronofsky’s “Black Swan” is a full-bore melodrama, told with passionate intensity, gloriously and darkly absurd. It centers on a performance by Natalie Portman that is nothing short of heroic, and mirrors the conflict of good and evil in Tchaikovsky’s ballet “Swan Lake.” It is one thing to lose yourself in your art. Portman’s ballerina loses her mind.Everything about classical ballet lends itself to excess. The art form is one of grand gesture, of the illusion of triumph over reality and even the force of gravity. Yet it demands from its performers years of rigorous perfectionism, the kind of physical and mental training that takes ascendancy over normal life. This conflict between the ideal and the reality is consuming Nina Sayers, Portman’s character.
Her life has been devoted to ballet. Was that entirely her choice? Her mother, Erica (Barbara Hershey), was a dancer once, and now dedicates her life to her daughter’s career. They share a small apartment that feels sometimes like a refuge, sometimes like a cell. They hug and chatter like sisters. Something feels wrong.

Snowpiercer (2013): The Fate of Capitalism as a Globalist Runaway Train (Eco-Nihilism, Supra-Nationalism, and Societal Collapse)

Snowpiercer (2013)Rambling About Snowpiercer (2013) – Film Inc.Snowpiercer (2013) - HD Trailer - YouTube

This article is about the film. For the graphic novels, see Le Transperceneige. For the TV series, see Snowpiercer (TV series).Snowpiercer (Korean설국열차Hanja雪國列車RRSeolgungnyeolcha) is a 2013 science fiction action film based on the French graphic novel Le Transperceneige by Jacques Lob, Benjamin Legrand and Jean-Marc Rochette.[5] The film was directed by Bong Joon-ho[6][7] and written by Bong and Kelly Masterson. A South Korean-Czech co-production, the film marks Bong’s English-language debut; almost 85% of the film’s dialogue is in English.[8][9]

The film stars Chris EvansSong Kang-hoTilda SwintonJamie BellOctavia SpencerGo Ah-sungJohn Hurt, and Ed Harris. It takes place aboard the Snowpiercer train as it travels a globe-spanning track, carrying the last remnants of humanity after a failed attempt at climate engineering to stop global warming has created a new Snowball Earth. Evans stars as Curtis Everett, one of the lower-class tail-section passengers, as they rebel against the elite of the front of the train. Filming took place at Barrandov Studios in Prague, using train car sets mounted on gimbals to simulate the train’s motion.

Snowpiercer received critical acclaim, and appeared on many film critics’ top ten lists of 2014 after its international release. Praise was primarily directed towards its vision, direction, and performances, particularly Evans’s and Swinton’s. Initially planned for a limited-screen showing in the United States, the critical response prompted The Weinstein Company to expand the showing to more theaters and to digital streaming services. With a budget of $40 million, it remains one of the most expensive Korean productions ever.

In a future where a failed climate-change experiment has killed all life except for the lucky few who boarded the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe, a new class system emerges.

Ender’s Game is a 2013 American military science fiction action film based on Orson Scott Card‘s 1985 novel of the same name. Written and directed by Gavin Hood, the film stars Asa Butterfield as Andrew “Ender” Wiggin, an unusually gifted child who is sent to an advanced military academy in space to prepare for a future alien invasion. The supporting cast includes Harrison FordHailee Steinfeld, and Viola Davis, with Abigail Breslin and Ben Kingsley. The film was released in Germany on October 24, 2013, followed by a release in the UK one day later.[5] It was released in the United States, Canada, and several other countries on November 1, 2013, and was released in other territories by January 2014. Ender’s Game was a box-office bomb, grossing only $125.5 million on a $110–115 million budget.

In the future, humanity is preparing to launch an attack on the homeworld of an alien race, called the Formics, that had attacked Earth and killed millions. The Formic invasion was stopped by Mazer Rackham, who crashed his fighter plane into the Formic queenship at the apparent cost of his life. Over the course of 50 years, gifted children are trained by the International Fleet to become commanders of a new fleet for this counterattack.

Cadet Andrew “Ender” Wiggin draws the attention of Colonel Hyrum Graff and Major Gwen Anderson because of his aptitude in simulated space combat. They order the removal of his monitor, signifying the end of the cadet program.

Ender is attacked by Stilson, a less prudent student he defeated in the combat sim, but Ender fights back and severely injures him. Ender confesses his grief to his older sister, Valentine, but is harassed further by their older brother, Peter. Graff arrives to reveal Ender was being tested and is still part of the program. Graff brings Ender to Battle School and places Ender with other cadets his age, but treats him as extraordinary, thereby subjecting him to being ostracized by the others. The cadets are placed in squads and perform training games in a zero-gravity “Battle Room”. Ender quickly adapts to the games, devising new strategies older students have not yet seen.

Young Ender Wiggin is recruited by the International Military to lead the fight against the Formics, an insectoid alien race who had previously tried to invade Earth and had inflicted heavy losses on humankind.
